I Bought A Lululemon Dupe Off Of Amazon and Here Are My Thoughts

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at PSU chapter.

I have a confession to make, I wear workout clothes 24/7 even though I rarely work out. In the summer, you’ll catch me in athletic shorts and a t-shirt or tank top and in the winter, leggings and a t-shirt or long sleeve shirt. They are just so comfy and even though in the past workout clothes haven’t really been in style, over the past ten years workout clothes have sort of moved into style with more girls trading in jeans for leggings and blouses for workout tank tops. As someone who loves workout clothes, I know how expensive they can be so I am always looking for cute workout clothes that don’t break the bank. Last week, one of my fellow Her Campus writers recommended the Lemedy Women Padded Sports Bra Fitness Workout Running Shirts Yoga Tank Top from Amazon and after considering whether or not I needed yet another tank top for 5 seconds, I ordered it and here are my thoughts.

After a long 6 day wait, the tank top finally arrived and I was so excited to open it. My first impression was that it was really nice looking and it did feel like high end, Lululemon quality and I was so excited to try it on. When I put it on after a lot of adjusting, I realized that I really liked it but it definitely runs a bit small so for anyone who is thinking of ordering it, order a size up. The built in bra is great but the padding was a little much for me so I removed it and it instantly made it 1000x more breathable. Even after spending the day running errands in it which involved walking a ton (hey maybe I do workout), I still found it comfortable and easy to breathe in. Although you can wear it as a bra or as a shirt itself, I wear it as a shirt and have found that it  does the trick.

I would have to say this Amazon order was a success and would recommend it to anyone who likes working out or pretending they work out. I got the navy blue color and for $23, I feel like it was a steal compared to what I’ve paid for brand named workout clothing. There are 13 colors and while the price varies based off of the color, you can expect to pay anywhere from $19-$24 which is a literal bargain.

That’s all I have for now, happy shopping collegiettes!
