Homecoming weekend was kicked off on Friday with the Homecoming parade. Students, faculty and the residents of State College lined the streets and enjoyed the ongoing line of trucks, floats, bands and clubs. Some favorite moments were the THON 2012 theme reveal—Brighten Every Journey—the decorated float competition between clubs, sororities, and fraternities and of course, the Blue Band. Luckily for everyone, the rain stopped just a couple hours before it began, so we got to enjoy the show with only a few complaints of chilly air.
