Eve Ensler Visits Penn State

Eve Ensler, a global activist and Tony Award winning playwright of The Vagina Monologues, came to speak at Penn State on Monday, March 28, for Sexual Violence Awareness Week. In an audience of over 700 at Alumni Hall, one fan named Megan Williams proudly boasted her handmade Vagina Monologues and V-Day jacket, which she made over eight years ago in support of Ensler’s activism. V-Day, a global activist movement to stop violence against women, has raised over $100 million for the cause and began the One Billion Rising Campaign in February of 2013.
