Bachelor Prediction: Kendall, Lauren, or Becca K?

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at PSU chapter.

Before we even begin, can we for a second pour a glass for Tia? She was so in love with Arie, but was sent home instead of Kendall, who really didn’t seem ready for an engagement.

Kendall is quirky and fun and was able to handle Crystal so well on the two-on-one date, but Tia was genuinely ready to be a wife. It shocked me to see her go.

But here we are. Three girls left.

I, for sure, find Kendall to be the weakest link. She’s such a sweetheart, but she needs to work on her communication, her readiness and her vulnerability if she wants to be a wife for Arie, who’s ready to start a family. She’s someone I can see him dating instead of marrying.

Therefore, the real competition is between Becca K and Lauren.

Becca K was Arie’s first date, and it seemed as if he was testing the waters of his new journey with a woman who he said in that episode “reminded” him a lot of “himself when he was on the Bachelorette.”

Becca K is sweet, understanding, genuine and open. She’s that woman you can definitely see as a mom and a friend, but a “cool” mom and a “trusting” friend. Her hometown was such a cute gesture, taking him to the autumn apple trees and strolling through the leaves and forest. It was a date that any ordinary couple would do, whether they’re on The Bachelor or not – and that says something.

Lauren didn’t seem to be on Arie’s mind until later in the game, but when he fell for her, he fell hard. Lauren was the first girl that, when she admitted her feelings, Arie actually got up from the table and had to let it sink in.

Her dates with him, however, always seem so quiet and only at dinner does she open up. Maybe she finds it more comfortable to talk when there’s food on the table? I totally get that – food can be so comforting.

Arie seemed to bond with both families so well, too, which makes this prediction hard.

I might not be backed up on this prediction, but I believe Arie will choose Becca K. He keeps saying she would make a great wife and great mother, yet he’s never said that about Lauren.

Lauren seems to be his new Bekah M, where there’s so much passion, but is it what’s good for him in a future marriage?

I think Arie loves Lauren in a different way than he loves Becca K, but I guess only Arie can decide.

My guess, though, is Becca K. She communicates and she’s ready – but is Arie?  We’ll find out next week! (Watch me be wrong, though.)

Stay tuned, collegiettes!

Born and raised in a suburb, I feel as though my upbringing can be as ordinary as they come. However, I find the idiosyncrasies in my personality and life in general to add the sparkles I need. I come from a Russian background, and so culture and appreciating language and diversity is very important to me. I have been taking French lessons, as a result. Therefore, I am almost trilingual:)). I love to write, and have kept countless notebooks throughout my life, documenting random experiences. I am a firm believer in seeing each moment for its purity and value. I love to make the most of each day by trying to find a way to laugh, dance, and sing at least four times. My life motto is "Be yourself—unapologetically". And with that...that's me. Laura Zaks, at best.
