As summer is approaching in full swing, visiting the beach, hanging out with friends and attending music festivals seems all the more appealing. Being from Massachusetts, my friends and I have gathered a few concerts that we’ve heard of and would be a dream to go to. So if you’re in New England at all, these may be great options for you!

Noah Kahan

Noah Kahan is currently on a world tour, supporting his new album “The Great Divide.” His recorded Fenway album from his previous tour expressed his deeply rooted love for New England. And as one of his favorite places to perform, Noah Kahan is coming back on July 7-11, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. with Gigi Perez opening. Having already gone to one of his concerts, I can confidently say that it was one of my favorite performances I have ever seen. Hopefully, he will make an appearance on the Green Monster again.

West 22nd

A growing, extremely talented band with multiple popular hits– “Virginia Highlands,” “Sunburns,” and “Easy Love.” Their concerts are known for being the epitome of a good time, as a lot of their music feels like a song you would play while driving to the beach or spending time with friends. West 22nd is performing four different times in Massachusetts– July 22 in Marshfield, July 24 in Amherst, and July 28-29 in Nantucket. Tickets range from $20-$30, with Marshfield’s concert being free.

Olivia Dean

On Monday, Aug. 10, 2026, at 7:30 p.m., Olivia Dean will make an appearance at TD Garden in Boston. Winning the Grammy Award for Best New Artist, her concert is increasingly more anticipated to be one of the best at this time. With her top hits “Man I Need,” “So Easy (To Fall In Love),” and “Nice To Each Other,” her ability to make large venues feel personal is what draws people in.

Tame Impala

From July 28-29 at 7:00 p.m., Tame Impala will be performing at TD Garden. The concert is known as being euphoric, with bright lights and confetti, and is consistently known as one of the most fun concerts. Currently priced around $250-$500, most tickets are still being distributed throughout all different areas of the venue.

Pitbull

Actually, having been to a Pitbull concert, I can confidently say that he does put on an amazing performance. With the matching bald caps of many fans and an incredibly energetic mood, Pitbull’s top hits are easy to sing along to. Playing on August 29, 2026, at Xfinity Center in Mansfield, the venue is a great place to hang out with friends.

Summer in Massachusetts is a great time for finding fun things to do that aren’t given priority during the school year. With even more concerts not even listed, such as Ed Sheeran and Jack Johnson, there is a concert for everyone.

Although ticket prices can constantly fluctuate from free to over $500, finding what’s right for you can come by looking more deeply into venues and performers. With Boston Calling — a festival known for hosting dozens of artists in three days, there are still great places to find performers.
