You have to take Lady Gaga out on a date.  Where would you go? Easy. I’d take her to a poker tournament. She’d win. Poker face.

How would you pick up a cute girl at a party? Probably by her waist—that’s where I feel like I would have the best balance.

What song do you sing in the shower when nobody else can hear you? (Be honest.) Consistently, I’d have to say “Dancing Through Life” from Wicked. I rarely finish whole songs in the shower because of the limited amount of time I actually have in there—I like to mentally shuffle as much as possible.

What scares you the most about women? In all seriousness, not much. I’m not one of those overconfident “bros” who thinks he can get any girl he “wants.” Nah, that’s not me. However, I really am not scared much of women. It is very difficult to tell what they want sometimes, but that’s what makes talking to them so interesting.

If your house were burning down and you could only save one thing (not including people or pets), what would it be? I just thought about this question for the past 15 minutes and I still can’t come up with anything, simply because material possessions aren’t all that important in the bigger picture. If all of the people and animals were saved from the burning house, then nothing actually dies. After all, if home really is where the heart is, then your “home” will be standing with you out on the sidewalk, watching a burning building.

Jen Kach is the most enthusiastic English major you'll ever meet at Penn State. Not a drop of British blood runs in her veins, but with her passion for literature and creative writing, she may as well have been born in the country of Shakespeare and Charles Dickens! Once she graduates from Happy Valley, she hopes to take the publishing world by storm, working either in book publishing or the magazine industry. At the top of her list, though, are novels...her ultimate dream is to write several of them! At Penn State, she is the managing editor for Valley magazine, a writing center tutor, and a member of Ed2010. An ardent believer in La Vie Boheme, she is in love with love, art, coffee shops, music, and classic films. She loves the little things in life, will never forget seeing the Goo Goo Dolls live in concert, and firmly believes that, when all else is said and done, there is no problem that Jane Austen can't fix.
