As we near the end of 2025, Christmas is all I can think about. The holiday cheer and festivities that come along with it are unlike no other.

Whether you like to celebrate Christmas through decorating a tree, stringing lights outside your home or baking themed goodies, they are all destined to get you into the holiday spirit.

I love baking, so I decided to create a list of five delicious Christmas goodies that you need to make this holiday season.

Gingerbread Cookies

When you think of a Christmas baked good, one of the first things that pop into your mind might be gingerbread. I know it was for me.

Gingerbread is a staple for Christmas time. Gingerbread cookies, gingerbread houses, you name it: gingerbread is the epitome of holiday baking.

Gingerbread cookies are a great way to enjoy gingerbread while not having to make a whole gingerbread house (that then has to be broken down to eaten). Besides, I feel like the cookies are both better and softer than the gingerbread used for the houses.

One festive way to spruce them up is to shape them like gingerbread men and decorate them with icing.

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

Chocolate crinkle cookies are a delicious chocolatey baked good that everyone should try to make at least once in their lives. If you love anything chocolate, these are for you.

Topped with powdered sugar that almost looks like snow, they are a great and festive way to incorporate the Christmas feel into your dessert table at Christmas dinner.

Rice Krispie Wreaths

Rice Krispie wreaths are another great way to turn real-like Christmas objects into a fun and delicious dessert. If you love Rice Krispie treats, this baked good will be your favorite to indulge in.

These treats are super simple to make and are great if you need a Christma goodie when you are on a time crunch. All it takes is a little melted marshmallows dyed green to hold the Rice Krispies together that you then mold and decorate into the wreaths.

These are super simple, yet still a great treat to make during this holiday season.

Peppermint Bark Fudge

Here is another one for my chocolate lovers. If you are a big fan of typical chocolcate goodies and are not afraid to mix it with holiday flavors, then this peppermint bark fudge is a great dessert to make.

While it is definitely on the more time consuming side, it is still super simple and easy to make. The longest step is leaving the bark in the fridge to set.

Outside of that, the prep time is just 20 minutes with a cook time of five. It is definitely worth it if you have a lot of time to kill but do not feel like putting in a lot of work.

Candy Cane Kiss Cookies

Last, but definitely not least, is candy cane Hershey Kiss cookies. These, alongside gingerbread cookies, are the epitome of Christmas cookies and desserts.

They are one of the most delicious desserts I have ever made or tasted during the holiday season. Combining the candy cane flavored Hershey Kiss with a delicious sugar cookie covered in red, green and white sprinkles is a great way to get some Christmas spirit into your baking.

They are not hard to make. They requires just a regular sugar cookie with sprinkles as the base and a Hershey Kiss on top, right after they come out of the oven. If you are going to make any of these goodies from this list, I highly recommend it being these.

The holiday season is a great time to experiment in the kitchen because of the many different festive possibilities you can create.

If you were planning on bringing a dessert to Christmas dinner or just simply wanted to bake a fun treat for the winter time, these are five goodies that you need to make this holiday season.
