Let’s face it, not everyone is in a relationship when February 14th rolls around each year. But never fear because here are 15 things for the strong independent woman to do that will make for the best Valentine’s Day yet.

1. Buy yourself a card

Bonus: stick it in the mailbox a few days in advance for a great surprise on V-Day.

2. Buy yourself a cute outfit

Because why not?

3. Go out to a fancy dinner

Table for one, please?

4. Buy yourself a giant stuffed animal

#goals

5. Buy yourself the jumbo box of chocolate

Treat yo’ self.

6. Watch The Bachelor

Will there ever be a better day to watch Ben Higgins fall in love?

7. Have a Galentine’s Day

Because no boy will ever know you like your girls do.

8. Drink some wine

We’re talking the whole bottle here, ladies.

9. Buy yourself flowers

Do you accept this rose?

10. Take selfies

Prepare for the IG posts and Facebook statuses, and show up all the couples with a flawless pic.

11. Buy new makeup and use it

Time to look up those YouTube tutorials, girls.

13. Take a weekend trip home

Your parents are forced to love you, and you get a home cooked meal out of it!

14. Go see Fifty Shades of Grey

Let’s be honest, going with a boy is just awkward anyway.

15. Love yourself

Because at the end of the day, that’s all that really matters.
