15 Times Liz Lemon Was Your Spirit Animal

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at PSU chapter.

There’s always that one character on a TV show that really resonates with you. Whether it’s their awkward demeanor or their unhealthy obsession with food, they just really get you. For some of us, Liz Lemon is that character, and these are the times when we connect with her on a spiritual level:

  1. When you really want a hot dog but the line is super long
  2. When you go to get your third hot dog at the tailgate and the dad grilling throws some shade:
  3. Trying to get out of a required event like:
  4. When your plans get cancelled
  5. When your mom offers to pay for your school supplies
  6. That one time you actually were able to form a coherent sentence around the guy next door
  7. Then when you find out he’s not as great as you made him up to be 8. And you really have better people/things to talk to…9. When you’re just trying to watch House Hunters in peace

    10. Trying out your new diet like:11. When you find a dollar on the street and can afford Canyon12. When your sister eats your leftovers : ) 13. When you try to remember what happened last night14. When you try to be optimistic but15. Trying to be optimistic but

So embrace your inner nerd, collegiettes. Liz Lemon would be proud of you.

If she's not busy writing away, you can find her planning her next adventure (probably back to the U.K.), feeding an unhealthy addiction to HGTV or watching dog videos on YouTube.
