Penn State Berks’ very own Emilio Figueroa is the founder and CEO of his company E.F Photography. E.F Photography is a photography company that provides services to wide range of people between High School and College students to Adults. E.F Photography is known for its photography in self/family portraits, galas, quinceañeras, sweet 16’s, Christmas portraits, weddings, and graduation photos.
In the future, E.F Photography looks forward in taking more “out-of-the-box photography.”
“By out-of-the-box I mean, different, out of the ordinary. I just recently did a nude shoot and that was a different out-of-the-box, and I look forward to doing photo shoots that people aren’t usual or normal,” Emilio answered.
In addition to his response of “out-of-the-box photography”, Emilio also hopes to extend his services into other genres as well. A few photographs that Emilio looks forward in taking in the near future are photo shoots of dogs or other animals, babies, and scenery.
However, due to Emilio’s current inventory, E.F photography can only do outdoor photo shoots. “Every shoot is always a different challenge,” Emilio added.
However, Emilio’s passion behind his photography is evident in his photographs. “I don’t see myself as an artist when it comes to drawing things, but when I see my artwork photography wise I almost fall in love with it.” Currently, in his computer, Emilio has over 18,000 photos saved between High School and now.
E.F Photography has also traveled and provided services in Washington D.C., Washington; Allentown, PA; Richmond, Virginia; Niagara Falls, New York; Mason, Ohio; Stanford, Connecticut; Baltimore, Maryland; Bridgewater, New Jersey.
Emilio also provides his customers with different packages. The more accustomed package is the $100/hour outdoor photo shoots, which is a flat rate. For weddings, the starting rate is $600. However, through E.F Photography’s Facebook page, Emilio offers different deals and coupons to his current and future consumers. Customers can also set an appointment and access their photographs via Facebook as well.
In the future, Emilio hopes to create a “full-blown” business with other employees and a modern, indoor studio.
