OMG, graduation is in less than four months. What am I doing with my life? What are my plans for after graduation? How can I possibly afford to be an adult? Are my shoes on the right feet? I DON’T KNOW HELP ME PLEASE.

Yes, college is almost over and soon it will not longer be acceptable to eat two packs of Ramen for dinner each night. With that being said, there are still some things we’d like to do while we still have the time, the energy, and our best friends just down the hall. Here is my senior bucket list full of this I want (am going) to accomplish in the upcoming months.

1. Senior ditch day- I have been really good about not missing class, mainly because I’m so afraid of missing something super important. But this semester I want to skip class for a day and go on some adventure, which will honestly be voyaging from my bed to the couch, but I feel like this is something I need to do while I still can.

2. Take more pictures-

People now a days seem to think that life can’t be enjoyed through the camera lens. And, while I agree to some extent, I have made a really bad habit of never taking pictures during nights out and fun events. I may have those memories for the rest of my life, I’d also like some proof that those days were just as epic as I remember.

3. Karaoke and Pizza night- Erie has this great little thing called, you guessed it, Karaoke and Pizza Monday at one of the local bars. While I may not be the best singer, I sure do love to sing. And eat pizza. And sing while eating pizza. So this is something I definitely want to experience before I graduate.

4. Ride the bull-

While we’re on the subject of local bars, one just opened that has a mechanical bull that I need to experience. It will probably be terrible, and I’ll probably fall off, but still, it’s one on those college experiences that I’m not willing to miss out on.

5. Play in the snow-Erie is known for being one of the snowiest cities in the United States, and I have yet to take advantage of that. Granted, usually it is too cold to step outside, but just once, I want to go sledding, build a snow man, and frolic through the Erie snow.

6. Slumber party-

One time, my roommates and I brought our mattresses into the living room and spent all day on them, watching movies, eating chips, and having a grand old time. I’m adding this to my bucket list because I want to do this again, as it was one of my favorite days of this year and it should be repeated.

7. Walk on the frozen lake-Yep, you heard that right! Erie gets so cold that the lake freezes over and you can walk on it… Enough said.

8. Get a 4.0-

Never in my college career have I gotten a 4.0. I’ve come pretty close, but never exact. This semester I want to finish off strong and finally have that perfect semester.

9. Say goodbye-Unfortunately, after graduation I may not see some of the people (whom I’ve seen every day for the past four years) for a very long time. Not that we won’t keep in touch, but our lives are taking us in so many different directions, and I want the people who have impacted me to know that they have impacted me in so many positive ways.

10. Have fun-

I’ve spent so much of my college career stressing about exams, classes, homework, grad school, etc. This semester, I want to focus on having fun. While, I’m not the type of person to slack off and put off my school work (see number 8), I also am not going to miss out on any fun adventures just because I have an 8:00 am the next day. This is the last time I’ll be a senior and I want to make the most of the time I have left with the people I love.

So, there you have it. The top 10 things I want to do before graduation day in May. Wish me luck! HCXO
