Are you excited?
Have you not heard?? Behrend will be hosting an SNL stand-up show featuring two amazing and hilarious comedians. On Friday, March 22nd, Michael Che and Alex Moffat will be taking the stage in Junker Center and it will definitely be a night to remember. Unfortunately, as college students, many of us might not have much time to watch tv and might not know everything about these two so, we are here to save the day and teach you about Behrend’s upcoming guests!!
Michael Che is a comedian from New York. His career in comedy started in stand-up in 2008, however, the game changed for him in 2013 when he became a writer for Saturday Night Live. After only one year, he decided to put the pen away and get in front of the camera and was featured in The Weekend Update and The Daily Show. He is currently one of the co-head writers and continues to kill it, both on stage and on television.
Opening for Che, is the hilarious Alex Moffat. He is from Chicago and is known for his improv. Moffat can be seen in movies such as Uncle John and Ralph Breaks the Internet and on Saturday Night Live. He is notorious for his celebrity impressions and has impersonated Mark Zuckerberg, Anderson Cooper, Paul Manafort and Conor McGregor.
Don’t get me wrong, the spring concert is always fun, but this event is something new and different and will definitely be something you do not want to miss. Tickets are currently on sale at the RUB desk, online at behrend/psu.edu/che and at the door, however, buy your tickets soon because prices might go up as the event gets closer! So whether you are a longtime lover of SNL, someone who loves to laugh or are just looking for something to do on March 22nd, stop on by!!
