As we are pulling into the end of February and the first days of March are in view it’s that time of year where all you hear on a college campus is the buzz of midterms and where everyone is going on spring break. If you either don’t have a lump some of money just sitting there waiting to be used on spring break, or you are just now deciding to ditch your college town to go somewhere fun for your week off, keep reading for some ideas.

Cheap Ideas:

  1. Key West, Florida-  this destination is a simple drive from Miami a popular spring break location. Being slightly away from Miami you can find cheap flights in to the Miami airport then a short drive to your location. Staying in this smaller town will give you less crowded beaches and significantly cheaper activities, food stops, and most importantly staying away from a big vacation spot like Miami will save you a large chunk on lodging.

  2. Myrtle Beach- with under $200 dollar flights (if booked in advanced) you can snag a few all inclusive packages that in clouded lodging and activities altogether for the perfect spring break package. Pay once and get it all and not having to worry about the money again.

  1. Daytona, Florida- Like Key west if you want beaches and some warmer weather there are many places in Florida that will make for cheap flights and cheap stays once you are there.

  2. Beach Locations in general- the best part about heading to the beach for spring break in that once you worry about getting there and a place to stay (always check airbnb) you can bring food and drinks with you and you will be good to sit on the beach all day and spend no money at all.

  3. All inclusive stays, if you have been saving for a little for spring break then an all inclusive trip might be the right thing for you. There are many all inclusive trips to places like Cancun, Mexico it might put a small dent in your wallet but for flight, hotel, food, drinks, and more for a whole week for around 1k really isn’t that bad. It’s something you need to plan ahead for.

Last Minute ideas

  1. Cheap Airbnb in the closest biggest city near you. If you really just wanna have some fun with friends rent a nice airbnb close by and just have a little staycation where you have fun in our own city.

  2. Take a road trip, you can almost always find a hotel room, or air bnb anywhere you go especially if you don’t care about the price. If you take a road trip there’s less prior planning about booking flights or trying to get rides to airports get in your car turn on the gps and drive.

  3. Large city getaways, head to one of of the big cities even if it’s last minute you’ll be able to find a room and a flight with ease. Especially if it is a non beach city since those are more popular for spring break. Head to a big city like NYC, of LA.
