Her Campus: Tell us about yourself!
Moustafa Elhadary: “I am 6 foot 4 inches of perfection (laughs). I am very cocky, but I hope in a good way. I research camel racing and serial killers much more than I should.”
Her Campus: Where were you born?
Moustafa Elhadary: “I was born in Alexandria, Egypt on July 12, 1996. It was my grandmother’s birthday, and I was born a few weeks early. They were pretty excited about my handsome face (laughs). Actually, I was pretty ugly, I’m not even kidding. Someone asked my mom ‘why do you even like your ugly child?’ I looked like a monkey.”
Her Campus: Dogs or Cats?
Moustafa Elhadary: “I’m a dog person; I do not like cats. Hell no.”
Her Campus: What campus activities are you a part of?
Moustafa Elhadary: “ I am the Senator in SGA, President of ISO, Treasurer of MCC, Treasurer/Chairman of D.O.P.E., member of OACS, part of soccer club, and a Resident Assistant.”
Her Campus: How many languages do you speak?
Moustafa Elhadary: “2 ¾, I speak Arabic and English fluently. I took French for seven years but I cannot remember it all, so that’s the ¾.”
Her Campus: What is your favorite movie?
Moustafa Elhadary: “Oh my God… there are a lot. The Departed was a good one, so was Inception, and The Dark Knight trilogy was amazing… Now You See Me was great too though. Okay, there are a lot, I have to list them all.”
Her Campus: What is your favorite food?
Moustafa Elhadary: “I like seafood, but how they make it back home.”
Her Campus: Who is your celebrity crush?
Moustafa Elhadary: “Emma Watson for sure. For sure.”
Her Campus: What is your favorite physical feature that you possess?
Moustafa Elhadary: “My eyelashes, I like them a lot. I stare at them a lot, I even shampoo them. I’m a very interesting man.”
Her Campus: What do you look for in a girl?
Moustafa Elhadary: “Someone who is smart, funny, and can understand me. I am very picky but, I don’t know, maybe I’ll know her when she appears.”
Her Campus: What is your ideal date?
Moustafa Elhadary: “I’d probably do something crazy like skydiving or go-karting, just something crazy.”
Her Campus: What is the biggest deal breaker for you in a relationship?
Moustafa Elhadary: “Someone who is very serious and pessimistic; I am a very upbeat person so we would not mix well.”
Her Campus: What is your dream career?
Moustafa Elhadary: “Probably a CEO; something that influences a lot of people.”
Her Campus: Who are your role models?
Moustafa Elhadary: “My dad and Bill Gates.”
Her Campus: What was the hardest challenge that you have ever had to overcome?
Moustafa Elhadary: “When I moved to Dubai in 6th grade; my parents never really told me we were moving so I thought we were just going for a summer vacation. I didn’t really know where I was, I actually thought I was in China at the time. I had no idea what anyone there was saying, even though they spoke Arabic, they had a different accent. Also, apparently there were misconceptions about Egyptians there at the time so, I had to overcome this really weird stereotype. It was really hard because I never got to say goodbye to my old school friends, so I was very shy and kind of an introvert at the time.”
Her Campus: What is the first thing you notice when you look at a girl?
Moustafa Elhadary: “If she is smiling. Also, her eyes and physically showing that she is happy.”
