What You Need to Know Before Applying Eyeshadow

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Providence chapter.

Last month after I finally got settled into the new school year, I went through an eyeshadow crisis. I was simply not having it with the eye makeup I brought to school, so of course that meant it was time for a Sephora run. Before going on this dangerous journey to the Providence Mall, I knew I needed to do my research. I spent hours on Pinterest, google, the Sephora site (if you have the app its waaay too easy to do) searching for the perfect eyeshadow colors that compliment my eyes. Yes, I am exceptionally good at procrastinating my seminar preps. After I concluded my scientific research on which eyeshadows compliment which eye colors (that counts as studying, right??), I was not so overwhelmed with all of my options. I have blue eyes and ended up purchasing the Tarte Limited-Edition Treasure Box Collectors set and I am in love with it!!! I highly recommend, it is perfect for all eye colors!

Since I spent so much brain power contemplating which new makeup product to buy, I decided to share my findings. I have listed multiple eyeshadow palettes that are perfect all eye colors- you’re welcome- enjoy!!
