This summer I decided that I was going to run a half marathon just to prove to myself that I could. It was really difficult in the beginning to get myself to run anything over 3 miles but I eventually got to the point where if I maintain an easy pace I can do over 10 miles. I started out training with my mom, who by the way, is an absolute warrior and has ran 7 marathons. But when I’m running by myself at school I count on my Spotify playlist to take me to my finish line. So without further ado, here is my running playlist…

1. Headband – B.o.B., 2 Chainz

2. Work Hard, Play Hard – Wiz Khalifa

3. Tip Toe – Jason Derulo, French Montana

4. The Middle – Zedd, Maren Morris

5. Paper Planes – M.I.A.

6. Sexy And I Know It – LMFAO

7. I’m an Albatraoz – AronChupa

8. The Distance- Aly  & AJ

9. Malibu (Tiësto Remix) – Miley Cyrus

10. Green Light – Lorde

11. Ni**as in Paris – Kanye West, JAY Z

12. I Did Something Bad – Taylor Swift

13. Whistle (While Your Work It) – Katy Tiz

14. The Champion – Carrie Underwood, Ludacris

15. Purple Lamborghini – Skrillex, Rick Ross

16. Black Skinhead – Kanye West

17. Sorry Not Sorry – Demi Lovato

18. Wreak Havoc – Skylar Grey

19. BO$$- Fifth Harmony

20. Clique – Kanye West, JAY Z, Big Sean

This playlist is definitely rap heavy, but Kanye and the others just work for working out. I also understand that some of the mor electronic songs are a bit ~out there~, but trust me they work for running. These songs can take you for miles and miles. Here is the link to my playlist, happy running :)
