If you’re getting into the holiday spirit and looking for ways to cheer up your dorm room for the last few weeks of the semester, I’ve rounded up the cutest Christmas decor from Target and Etsy to save you some time. From mini trees to gorgeous decorations from small businesses (and even a Christmas sweatshirt or two), this list has it all. Read on to curate the holiday room of your dreams!

Given the size of dorm rooms, and the fact that we’ll all need to pack up and head home for winter break in a few weeks, this list is short but mighty. Happy holidays!

  1. This three-foot Christmas tree  from Target is only $25 and will fit in more spacious dorm rooms— plus it comes with lights! This is especially nice if you’re a freshman or starting college next year, since you can use it all four years. Grab a bunch of ornaments  for $15 to spice it up even more and you’ll have a more festive room in no time!
  2. If your college living space cools off dramatically in the winter months, $15 is a good price for this reversible holiday blanket from Target; wrap up in it while you study or sleep for some Christmas-themed cozy vibes.
  3. Moving on to showcase some small businesses, this adorable gingerbread man pillow from FashionTote on Etsy is the perfect Christmassy companion for your dorm room. Handmade, it’s $31.75 (on sale until November 26!) and bound to put a smile on your face whenever you get home from classes.
  4. If you want to bring some subtle holiday vibes with you everywhere, check out this embroidered sweatshirt with Christmas trees from Up2ournecksinfabric on Etsy! It comes in both a tee and a sweatshirt, and is a great way to feel cozy and cheery while still being comfortable.
  5. For some cute, wintery touches, I recommend these mini gnomes from Target- you get three for $10, and they’re so cute! I have some from a few years ago that sit on my windowsill, and they add such an adorable touch to the Christmas theme.
  6. Finally, this list wouldn’t be complete without a holiday book recommendation. The Holiday Switch by Tif Marcelo is such a cute holiday season rom com, with the perfect blend of cozy vibes, intriguing secrets, and sweet moments. This one will definitely help you get in the holiday spirits, so if you’re interested in some seasonal reads this year, pick it up as a refreshing break from studying!
