This semester I had the honor to receive a back-to-school care package from the Her Campus – Campus Trendsetters team! Campus Trendsetters gave college students amazing items from school supplies to food to self-care and more! Here is the list of everything included:

  1. Post-It Notes
  2. TastyBite Indian Madras Lentils and Indian Channa Masala
  3. Nair Bladeless Shave shaving cream
  4. DivaCup Menstrual Cup
  5. Excedrin over-the-counter medicine
  6. BondiSands self-tanning drops, tanning milk moisturiser, and SPF 50 sunscreen
  7. Tabasco Pepper Sauce
  8. Proactiv renewing cleanser, repairing treatment, and revitalizing toner
  9. Hallmark cards and pop-up flower

To start, I use Post-It notes for everything in school, whether it is to annotate, write reminders on my desk, or simply have a bookmark in my textbook. I am always running low on these because of how much I use them, so it is great that Campus Trendsetters gave me a restock for the semester!

Next, I have never tried TastyBites before, so I was unsure what to expect from them. One of the first things I noticed was that they were vegetarian products, which I greatly appreciate because I try to avoid eating meat as often as possible without risking a lack of nutrients. I also loved how easy they were to make; they can be made on the stove or in the microwave. As far as taste goes, I greatly enjoyed them and look forward to making them with rice for lunch or dinner. I also know once I run out I’ll be sure to go to the store and find some more! Adding the Tabasco sauce into the mix, I use this all the time to give my food some flavor when cooking, so I will continue to use this in the future.

I have always been a bit skeptical of using menstrual cups (especially after that viral girl on Tik Tok couldn’t remove hers with her fake nails on). While I am still waiting to put this one to use, I am interested to see how it works out and I have heard good reviews about the DivaCup brand. This could be a new go-to every month for me.

After spending two weeks in Florida this summer, I think I’ve reached my tanning limit for the year, but BondiSands can still come in clutch in the future with their self-tanning drops. I also think their sunscreen is still perfect to use all year round because it is important to protect your skin from harmful rays, even in the winter!

The Hallmark cards were very cute! I honestly might just keep them for myself and tape a few of them to my wall. They include thank you cards with inspirational words and cute designs. The pop-up plant also sits on my window sill in my dorm, so I will definitely keep that there for as long as possible.

Lastly, I received a Proactiv skincare set. I have never used Proactiv before, but I am such a skincare junkie, so I am always down to try out new products and see how they work. So far I have only used the revitalizing toner after cleansing, and it has freshened up my skin after a period of stress acne from school. With that, I do look forward to trying out the other two products soon!

Once again, I say thank you so much to Campus Trendsetters for the amazing care package! They have been so generous with making sure students are prepared academically, mentally, and physically for this school year!
