“I’m starin’ at my Mac book,” because I’m watching this video and I love it. Mike Stud is an up and coming rapper fresh out of Duke University. And so far, I’ve really like all the songs he’s produced. This one is no different.
The song “In This Life,” is a tribute to all he and Loggy, rapper from U.C. Berkley, have done so far in their lives. It’s a song that inspires people to appreciate their lives and take advantage of it as well, and not just the material things. The song sample’s James Blunt’s “I’ll Take Everything,” a perfect fit for such a deep song. The music video itself works well. It switches between Stud and his awesome baseball skills, Loggy and his awesome football skills, and shots between the East and West Coasts. And, also, I still like guys in city lights. But here, it makes everything more dramatic, which just makes the video go perfectly with the song.
