You could call me materialistic, but I just know what I want.
Â
In my imaginary post-graduate closet:
Bibi Pump, designed by Christian Louboutin
Wilhemina has good taste. You knew this. I know that. Her staff favorites list only corroborated the idea of her impeccable style. Like âmina, I canât help but love Louboutin. Heâs a shoe godâand I am faithful in my worship.
Â
On my iPod:
âWho Runs the World (Girls)â, by BeyoncĂ©
Feminist? Maybe. Beyonceâs newest numberââWho Runs the World (Girls)â is catchy and empowering. I mean arenât these words for all Princeton collegiettesâą to live by: â[Weâre] strong enough to bear the children, then get back to âbidness.ââ
Â
On top of my dresser:
Princess, by Vera Wang
My parents just get me. One of my favorite Christmas parents from the ârents has been the flirtacious, frisky, and fun scent of Princess. Three sprits of Vera Wangâs Princess and Iâm good to go. I canât leave home without it.
Close second: Watermelon Sorbet Tasty Lip Color, from Bath and Body Works
In my bookshelf:
Anna Karenina, by Leo Tolstoy
Like every girl, I love my fictional romances with a dash of tragedy. Tolstoy’s acclaimed work has more than its fair share of tragedy. There’s Lenin and Kitty–a match made in heaven and an engaging subplot. Nonetheless, Anna’s whirlwind romance and her (age-related) insecurities–that we can all relate to–are the meat of the tale.
Close second: The Beautiful and the Damned by F. Scott Fitzgerald
