Nail Polish Review: Illamasqua’s JoMina

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Princeton chapter.

Faithful Princeton collegiettes™, you know as well as my closest friends that my addiction to nail polish is anything but healthy (of course you remember this from the article–Heads Will Roll due to Nails Colored Bold)  . Understanding my obsession with nail lacquer, you just have to understand that I believed it necessary to trudge through the rain in order to receive a new set of colors from nail polish mecca—Illamasqua.

So without further ado, I’d like to start the first nail polish review series of Her Campus Princeton.

Nail Polish Review: Illamasqua’s JoMina

From the bottle, I was sure that I would adore the color; as described on the home site, JoMina is an electric lilac shade. Most definitely, the color stands out. The coloration is soft yet bold, even with use of one coat:

Image Above is with One Coat.

Illamasqua nail lacquers tend to dry quickly, which is always a benefit for we Princeton collegiettes™ with a lot on our plates. Even better, the nail polish can last for a solid week. Without use of a base coat or a top coat, my nails were essentially chip-free for a week. Stories on the interwebs declare that they have maintained the polish for ten days plus–with use of top and base coats, of course!

Final Verdict: Buy This Today!

JoMina is the perfect color to add to your collection; obviously many agree, as a waitlist is now open for the polish. Nonetheless, join the waitlist and check out other Illamasqua colors today at their website. Princeton collegiettes™, feel free to suggest colors below that you’d like for us to review.

Happy painting!
