It’s that wonderful time of year again… spring! Although it’s technically spring, with the Portland weather it doesn’t always seem like it. Here are some outfit ideas that you can rock in Portland to show off your spring style while also staying dry and cozy!

1. Layers

Transition from winter to spring by wearing sweaters and jackets over your dresses!

2. Denim Jacket

An easy way to dress down an outfit is to throw on a denim jacket. It’ll keep you warm for those chilly spring days and look effortlessly casual.

3. Pop of Color

Use your boots as a pop of color. Especially if you’re like me and all the clothes you own are black.

4. Business Casual

This is a great look for all of you collegiettes who have internships. Sometimes “commute shoes” can look really drab. But these rain boots are a cute way to stay dry and look professionial!

5. Turn a Dress into a Skirt

Fun fashion hack: tie a button down into a crop top over a dress and BAM your dress is now a skirt. This is a fun way to incorperate layers into your outfit and giving your old dresses a new look.

5. Combat Boots

Maybe rain boots aren’t your thing! You can still stay dry (and kick your busy day’s butt) in combat boots.

6. Monochromatic

Portland springs can be really grey, so why can’t your outfits be grey too? Although grey and black might seem more appropriate for winter there’s no reason you can’t transition into spring with these pieces. Go all black or all grey with a scarf!
