What was your favorite part of Salzburg?
I think the obvious answer is being able to travel throughout Europe, but I also loved being pushed outside of my comfort zone and having to orient myself in place that is very different from the U.S. I also really enjoyed the group of people that I was able to spend my year with. It was so exciting to be able to share my experiences with fellow UP students and grow in those relationships.
Any advice for future students that will study abroad?
I would definitely recommend for anyone who has the opportunity to study abroad to do it! Also, once you’re studying abroad, take advice from people who have studied abroad before you, but also make sure that you’re doing what you want to do. Everyone has their own unique experiences abroad, so travel to places that interest you!
What is your favorite winter activity?
Since I’m from southern California I don’t get to do this a ton, but I love having snowball fights. I also really enjoy curling up under a blanket with some hot chocolate while watching Christmas movies.
