Our own Pittsburgh Penguins are having a good season so far with 40 wins and only 22 losses!
Our players have been going strong and hopefully they will make the playoffs this year.
The current offensive player with the most points in the NHL is Sidney Crosby with 74 points and Evgeni Malkin is is in 7th place with 68 points.
The Penguins are curretnly the in fifth place in the Eastern conference. In the past week, the Pens were running on a losing streak with the Bruins (2-0), Red wings (5-1), Devils (2-0), and the Stars (2-1), but on March 21st they finally won against the Coyotes (3-1).
Last year we made it to the playoffs but lost to the Rangers, so the Pens came home without another Stanley Cup. This year the Pens are doing well, so us Penguins fans have high hopes!
