On September 29th, 2026, Olivia Rodrigo debuted in Pittsburgh on the Unraveled Tour. On the Guts and Sour tours, she didn’t stop in Pittsburgh; Philadelphia was her only stop in Pennsylvania. This is her third tour around the United States and Europe. This year she came to Pittsburgh on  September 29th and 30th at PPG Paints Arena. Across the two nights she performed in Pittsburgh, she sold over 39,000 tickets. This is her second arena tour after the Guts tour in 2024.

The opener for the first leg of the Olivia Rodrigo Tour is Wolf Alice, an English rock band established in 2010. The band was originally a duo with singer Ellie Rowsewll and guitarist Joff Odie. Wolf Alice is named after a short story by Angela Carter in 1979. The main genres the band covers are alternative rock, indie rock, dream pop, shoegaze and indie folk.

Olivia Rodrigo’s stage was set up with flowers across the arena, one small stage and a center stage for the finale. The show follows the storyline of the four seasons exploring the feelings of a relationship. The first season starts out with Spring, which represents the start of a relationship with innocence and new love. The songs that represent new love are “Drop Dead,” “U + Me = <3,” and “All American.” She wakes up in a flower-filled bed to represent the start of a relationship with hope that everything will work out.

Transitioning into summer, we are met with the storms and turmoil that Rodrigo faces in her relationship. We are introduced to the turmoil with the relationship with the songs “Good 4 U,” “My Way,” “Serena Joy,” “Bad Idea Right?,” and “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl.” She uses rock songs she has written and also destroys flowers on the stage to show her anger with the relationship and the turmoil that she faced during it.

Autumn represents disillusionment and decay of the relationship. The leaves falling represent the relationship losing its shine, exploring themes of depression, heartbreak, and the emotional exhaustion of a relationship. Songs that reflect themes of heartbreak and depression include “Stupid Song,” “Maggots for Brains,” “Traitor,” “Cigarette Smoke,” and “Begged.”

Winter represents the relationship’s final act, with acceptance and vulnerability as it ends. The songs in the final act are “Honeybee,” “Favorite Crime,” “Drivers License,” and “Less.” “The Cure” serves as the final song of the main show before the encore. During this song, Rodrigo wears a white dress that stays on for the final four songs. She then stands on a circular platform, and her dress slowly dissolves with an artificial rain machine that reveals a red dress underneath the white one. The white dress symbolizes pain shedding into strength.

After going through the seasons, we see Olivia return in jeans and a tank top, and she closes with fan favorites like “Deja Vu,” “Expectations,” and “All American.”
