This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Point Park chapter and does not reflect the views of Her Campus.

Kamille, junior, has been making a name for herself since that start of career at Point Park University. Her charming smile, beautiful outlook on life, and her fierce dance moves make her one of the most recognizable students on campus. Kamille  has danced her way into our hearts but she also means business. She is double majoring in Dance and Sports, Arts and Entertainment Management, and clearly has big aspirations. Her Campus got the opportunity to chat with this Campus Celeb this week:

HC: Why did you choose Point Park University?

“I choose PPU because it was close to my family and I wanted to go to a school in the city.”

HC: What do you love about dance?:

“I love dance because it’s my own personal outlet of expression, my own language that I can share with people. I also love that I can bring joy to others with my talent.”

HC: You are also a Sports, Arts and Entertainment Major?:

“I am SAEM as well. I love how dance and SAEM parallel each other. I learn so much from both fields that I can apply to whatever it is I do in the future. It’s great to have those tools in my toolbox.”

HC: So we hear you tried out for So You Think You Can Dance?:

“I did and it was the best experience of my life. Truly eye opening and rewarding. From watching that show since I was 7 years to actually going through the process was surreal. And Vegas week was something I will never forget”.

HC: What is your biggest dance inspiration?:

“My biggest dance inspiration is the world I live in. I am inspired everyday by my environment whether it be my peers, nature, the city – it all keeps me motivated and my creative juices flowing!”

HC: Where do you hope to be in 10 years?:

“In 10 years I hope to be living financially stable with my husband and raising a family. Honestly I don’t want to be dancing 10 years from now. It was always something I wanted to do while I was young and then focus on the business side of things and redirect myself towards event management and wedding planning!”

Brendan Dazen was born June 10th, 1994 in Pittsburgh, Pa. As a child he particapted in such activities as soccer, dance, theater, baseball, and singing. He grew up to love theater and music so much. He even landed a "Best Newcomer" award for Peters Township High School's theater department . He now attends Point Park University for Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Management. He wanted to become a member of HerCampus because he wanted to share his thoughts and ideas of pop culture, music, and fashion with his campus, and hopefully other schools. Brendan has a strong interset in Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, sunflowers, fashion, adventutres, photography, concerts, and dance. He hopes in the future to be a production manager.
Lexie Mikula is senior Mass Communications major at Point Park University from Harrisburg, PA. Lexie held the position of Campus Correspondent and contributing editor-in-chief of HC Point Park from May 2014 - May 2016. In addition to social journalism and media, she enjoys rainy days in the city, dogs with personality, watching The Goonies with her five roommates (and HC teammates!), and coffee... copious amounts of coffee.
