Her Campus Point Park is feeling the love this week! In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, we’ve decided to take five and get to know more about one of Point Park’s cutest couples, Hailey Turek & Mike Cooknick. But first, these lovebirds need your help… deciding where they should go for their V-Day date! Give ’em your two cents by taking our poll.
How did you guys meet?
Hailey: My best friend from home goes here [to Point Park] and met her boyfriend here.
Mike: Yeah, and her boyfriend grew up next door to me and is my best friend!
Hailey: And my best friend introduced us! So, mutual friends!
How long have you two been together?
H: Around the first week of October 2012, so we’ve been together for over a year now.
How did you [Mike] as her [Hailey] out?
M: I didn’t really formally ask her out, it just kind of happened!
What are your favorite things about each other?
M: She’s a strong person, a good communicator, and the nicest person I’ve ever met.
H: His patience and giving spirit. He’s a supportive person, not just to me, but to everyone.
Where was your first date?
H&M: Chipotle!
Your best date?
H: When Mike came to visit in Texas and we went to a drive-in movie!
