Are you in search of a snow day activity for you and your roomie? Keep cozy inside while you craft up some color for your corkboard! These pom-pom tacks are both adorable and easy to make, so heat up some hot cocoa and DIY away!

You will need:

  • Yarn
  • A Fork
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue
  • Thumb Tacks

1. Place the yarn over top of the fork.

2. Wrap the yarn around the fork until it is nice and bulky.

3. Cut off the end of the yarn. Take another piece of yarn and thread it through the middle of the fork, underneath the big yarn wad.

4. Tie the piece of yarn into a tight knot around the yarn wad, and cut off the remainder.

5. Slide the wad of yarn off the fork and cut off all of the end loops.

6. Fluff up your pom-pom and hot glue a tack over top of the knot.

You’re done! Make a bunch in different sizes and colors to fill up your bulletin board. Happy pinning, collegiettes!
