Colton Bolender is a Senior Cinema and major from Colombus, Ohio. He is also a Community Mentor in Pioneer Hall. Get to know this awesome senior before he graduates next week!
HC: How long have you been a Community Mentor or a part of the Office of Student Life?
CB: This is my 1st year as a Community Mentor For the Office of Student Life!
HC: What has been your favorite part of your job as a CM?
CB: My favorite part was the amount of support that came with the job. I acquired this new group of friends that became family so fast. I know I can call up anyone of my fellow staff members at anytime for help and won’t be let down.
HC: What have you learned that will help you after you graduate next week?
CB: I’ve learned a lot about how to connect with people who aren’t always going to be interested in similar things. I feel like I have the ability to find a common ground with anyone I meet.
HC: What is your next step? Are you planning on staying in Pittsburgh?
CB: I do plan to stay in pittsburgh for at least another year. Then it’s off to NYC or Cali. Maybe London. Who knows. I wanna see the world!
