HC: How do you like living in America?
SM:Â “It is interesting, it isn’t my first time living abroad but it is still a different experience especially since it will be my first time experiencing snow and extreme cold.”
HC:Â What made you decide to become a photographer, more specifically, a photojournalist?
SM:Â “Growing up as a child I was always fascinated in the cultures of people around the world so when I discovered who National Geographic and Reuters were what they did, Â I realized I didn’t have to go to school for law which I was planning on doing before I decided to come to the USA for school.”
HC:Â What do you want to do with your degree?
SM: “I plan to travel the world using my photos and stories to bring a better understanding to  these cultures around the world in hopes of removing any ignorance.”
HC:Â Are you involved in any photography related clubs?
SM:Â “Not yet, but I plan to in the future.”
HC:Â How many leadership positions for different clubs do you have/ applied for?
SM:Â “I have a leadership position in CAB and I have applied for leadership positions in Her Campus.”
