The Bartram House Bakery is the perfect little bakery and coffee shop in the South Side, just before SouthSide Works. Bartram House has a huge assortment of desserts and pastries that will have you craving everything in sight! Everything looks so good! They have everything from cookies and cakes to desert slices – there is something for everyone. Also, the prices very reasonable! Dessert items ranged from $0.50 to $4 and the coffee/hot chocolate was only a few bucks too. I got a medium hot chocolate, cookie and cupcake all for under $5. There were a lot of seats that you can just hang out at or even be on a date at, it was a cozy place.
The bakery also makes breakfast and café specialties so you can go into the shop anytime to eat a meal before dessert.
So if you ever find yourself in the South Side Works and in the mood for something sweet, definitely stop in the Bartram House!
