Every so often a company or organization gets lucky and becomes the go to trend of the year. Currently that trend is Alex and Ani + energy bracelets!

Alex and Ani was created in 2004 by Carolyn Rafaelian. Their name derives from Rafaelian’s two daughters, Alex and Ani. According to their website, their mission is “to be committed to building a culture that focuses entirely on mindful actions.” Another plus is that each piece of jewelry is made of 100% recycled metals in the USA.

By far their most well-known product is their bangles. You can choose a variety of designs for a dangle, such as an initial, zodiac sign, lotus, claddagh, and much more. Then you can decide if you would like your bracelet to have a gold or silver finish to it.

Alex and Ani are involved with Charity By Design, also founded by Rafaelian. It allows non-profit organizations to reach their goals by sharing their mission through the “power of positive energy and creative design,” according to AlexandAni.com. With each purchase of a Charity By Design bangle, so much goes back to a particular charity.

As of now, there are various Alex and Ani stores around the US and select stores and shoppes. You can also purchase them online here.
