If you are able to call your freshman year roommate your BFF, you certainly lucked out. Some people were dreading even being face to face with their roommate(s) by Christmas break. One thing that most likely kept you going is the fact that in a matter of months you would be beginning your sophomore year and will be getting to CHOOSE whom you would be living with. Now, if you were one of those lucky few who adored their freshman year roommate, this will probably be a summary of your experience living on campus for the first time.
1. You’ll never feel lonely
Your BFF knows your every mood…so they’ll know just the trick on how to cheer you up.
2. Sharing is caring
You’ll probably get away with “borrowing” more items this year since after all, they’re your best friend
3. No more fashion emergencies
No more stressing over outfits for your weekend events! You have access to your best friend and their opinions at any time. Should you wear that brand new necklace? Â Now you have a second, and the most important, opinion at your constant disposal.
4. Ten years from now, the stories will be hilarious
“Remember that one time you opened up a wine bottle with a shoe?”
5. They’ll be there to remind you to eat the apple, not the cookieÂ
Best friends always have your back. Everyone has the little devil on the left shoulder and the angel on their right…your BFF will always be there to tell you which option is right.
6. Every day is a sleepover
As a child you probably used to wait and wait until the weekend came so you and your best friend could have a sleepover. Now you get to have one every single night.
You’re living with your best friend – Seriously, what more could you ask for?
