Besides being insanely gorgeous and funny, Jessie James Decker has some seriously amazing talent. For those of you that don’t know, Jessie James Decker is a country singer who got her start back in 2009 with the release of her first single, “Wanted.” Since then, she has gone on to put out more music, cohost Redneck Island on CMT, and even marry NFL hottie, Eric Decker. Here’s why this southern beauty is one to follow!
As mentioned before, Jessie is married to Eric Decker, who is a wide receiver for the New York Jets. Together they starred in their own reality show on E! called Eric & Jessie: Game On, which showcased their daily lives while juggling Eric’s football schedule and Jessie’s singing career; the two also have a daughter named Vivianne Rose who was born last year. As if that wasn’t enough, Eric and Jessie have their own foundation called Decker’s Dogs, which helps fund and train service dogs for military veterans returning home with disabilities.
Recently, Jessie has released her newest EP called “Comin’ Home.” With just six songs, the whole album is worth listening to, but my personal favorites are “Rain On the Roof of This Car,” “Diary,” and “Coming Home.” And if you want a little throwback, “I Look So Good Without You” is a great song for after a break up.
If you follow Jessie on Instagram, you may have seen her sneak peak of the swimwear she’s created with Amore & Sorvete or her collaboration with fave4 to create the Kittenish Kit. The kit includes a hairspray, glossing spray, teasing comb, and an exclusive bandana designed by Jessie herself. She also has her own YouTube channel where you can watch Jessie do different makeup and hair tutorials, or even bake cookies with her husband.
Jessie James Decker is a force to be reckoned with and definitely one of my role models. I’m always looking for what she’s doing next and hope that everyone else will do the same!
