So our favorite night is just around the corner, AKA HC’s Night Out! I’m sure that all of you are wondering what you should wear to the event. Well, don’t worry, here are some easy go to outfits that are perfect for the night in this brisk Pittsburgh weather.

Classic Romper

Whether it is shorts or pants, both will work. I personally love getting a solid color romper and adding a statement necklace and heals to dress it up. If you get a printed one, keep the jewelry simple with either modest silver or gold accents, so that it isn’t too overwhelming. If you don’t have a romper though, get one now! It is a classic must that makes getting ready for day or night super easy and comfy.

Long Sleeve Dress

These are the most underrated dresses for going out, but they are always my go to in this Pittsburgh weather. They keep you warm for the walk over, but you’ll never have to worry about getting too hot once you’ve arrived. These dresses are good for all body types because they come in a variety of shapes, from tight cut outs to backless. For HC’s Night Out, I would suggest going with something that has a classic feel, but still has something to make the dress pop, such as a bold color.

Bold Skirt

I always stray from skirt-top combos because it can be a little more challenging to find things in my closet that perfectly match. However, it doesn’t have to be that hard! Find a bold skirt with a fun pattern and pair it with a plain top. This outfit below is perfect in my opinion; long sleeves and a longer skirt that will keep you warm enough where you don’t have to wear a jacket! You still can add jewelry without it being too much, and what is better than accessorizing?

Pants

Don’t forget the statement pants! Whether they are bright red, patterned or high-waisted they can always work for a night out.  A basic shirt can be used to balance off the bold statement of the pants, ranging from a button down, short sleeve, or tank top they can all work. I’m a huge fan of high waisted things and the color red so these pants in my opinion are perfect especially if you add a red lip to match.

Sequins

For nights out, you can never go wrong with sequins. Shorts, tops, headbands, or shoes, they can always work! One item that tends to be in currently is fully covered sequin shorts. They can dress up any outfit; all you have to do is throw on a top. If you aren’t a huge fan of jewelry then no worries, the sequins can make up for it.

In the end, you can never go wrong with a classic pair of heels and your favorite piece of jewelry to bring an outfit together. When in doubt, grab something bold and compliment it with simple pieces to pull the whole look together. Never be afraid to over-dress because its always better to over-dress than underdress!
