This year, the Super Bowl will bring together the New York Giants and the New England Patriots.  But it will also bring together non-sports fans and true, die-hard fans at Super Bowl parties. These different levels of love for the game may alter how you choose to dress for the occasion.  Here’s how to look great for game day, whether you’ve been resting your voice all week in preparation for screaming OR you’re just heading over for the free beer and pizza.

1. The Super-What? Girl
I know there are plenty of girls out there who couldn’t care less about football, let alone the Super Bowl.  If you find yourself asking, “What’s a touchdown?” or “Who’s playing in the game?” or any other question along those lines, here’s a basic outfit to throw together that will allow you to fit right in at your Super Bowl party and still be perfect to wear when you go out after the game.
Pair these Forever 21 blue skinny pantswith this white mesh topto sport colors affiliated with both the Giants and the Patriots (so don’t worry about rooting for one team!).  Throw on a statement necklaceafter the game to dress up the outfit and you’ll be set to go out!

2. The Super Bowl=Super Party Girl

If you’re using the Super Bowl as an excuse to dress up and have fun with your friends, then here’s how to wear a trendy outfit that coincides with the game.  These Nasty Gal Uptown Shortswill definitely make a pre-spring statement. And if you pair a red, open back Daydreamer Teeyou’ll show your Patriot pride.  But for Giants fans, switch to this black LA Cross Backtank, also from Urban Outfitters. To add an extra fun party element, try these beaded feather earrings, or these rhinestone teardropones. Even better, all these elements can be re-worn at future party outings.

3. The Sports Fanatic, Football Loving, Girl
If hearing about the Super Bowl makes you anxious, if you’re a longtime fan of the Giants or Patriots, or you just absolutely love football, you’re probably the girl who is going to blatantly represent your favorite team at the football party.  However, if you want to avoid borrowing an oversized, unflattering jersey from some random guy, try these different tops from the official Women’s NFL shop: Women’s Giants Jersey(pictured to the right) Women’s Giants “The Coop” Football T-Shirt, a custom Giants hoodie, Women’s Patriots Jersey,or an adorable Patriots T-Shirt(pictured below). You can also go to Victoria’s Secret stores, which often sell Victoria’s

Secret football gear sponsored by the NFL.Sources:
