The month of February kicked off with music’s biggest night: the Grammy Awards. The year’s top artists gathered at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles to celebrate the music that became the soundtrack of the past year. Not only did the artists deliver unforgettable performances, but they also pulled out all the stops on the red carpet. From sequins to leather, bold risks were taken, and breathtaking looks were everywhere. Here are my top five favorite looks from the 2026 Grammy Awards.
- Sabrina Carpenter
-
Sabrina Carpenter had my favorite look of the night. She walked the red carpet in custom Valentino Garavani, paying tribute to the beloved designer who passed away on January 19. The dress was absolutely breathtaking, featuring silver beadwork from head to toe. With a short cape overlay and a tiered ruffle skirt, the look perfectly matched Carpenter’s energy while still feeling fresh and unexpected. Everything about her appearance felt effortless, from her simple updo to the soft pink tones in her makeup, which complemented the pale pink of the dress. Although she walked away without a Grammy, she won best dressed in my book.
- Zara Larsson
-
There is currently no one doing it like Zara Larsson, and I am personally here for it. With her recent album Midnight Sun, she has sparked a pop resurgence that earned her a Grammy nomination. Her current rebrand, inspired by the viral dolphin meme tied to her song “Symphony,” embraces bright, summery colors in both fashion and makeup. She brought that vision to the red carpet in a bright yellow, glittery two-piece by Kevin Germanier. The look was finished with a waist piece resembling rays of sunlight and sparkling Swarovski jewelry. Larsson is a breath of fresh air in the industry and a rising style icon.
- Miley Cyrus
-
Miley Cyrus’s looks, while always iconic, can sometimes be hit or miss. Her Grammy look was definitely a hit and felt completely natural for her. She wore an all-black Celine ensemble featuring a leather jacket, pants, and sleek heels. Attached to the jacket was a bold gold brooch with her initials, MC. She paired the look with black shades and gloves, adding to the cool, understated edge. The outfit matched her vibe perfectly and made a subtle yet confident statement on the carpet.
- Lady Gaga
-
When has Lady Gaga ever failed to make an impression on the red carpet? She arrived in a black feathered mermaid gown by Matières Fécales that channeled dark black swan energy. The gown featured a high neckline and a dramatic, long train, making it impossible to ignore. The dress’s darkness contrasted beautifully with her bold makeup and bleached hair. Later in the night, Gaga changed into an Alexander McQueen dress from the Fall 2009 collection. The dramatic look featured a red feathered top paired with a black skirt and was the perfect complement to the Grammy she won for Best Dance Pop Recording.
- Olivia Dean
-
Olivia Dean stole the show in more ways than one. Not only did she leave the Grammys as the winner of Best New Artist, but she was also one of the night’s best-dressed. She stunned on the red carpet in custom Chanel, straight off the runway. The top was covered in black sequins and feathers that blended seamlessly with a white skirt. She styled the look with Cartier jewelry and Chanel shoes. During the Best New Artist medley performance, Dean changed into a red, sparkly Chanel mini dress that matched her vibrant performance and left a lasting impression.
The 2026 Grammy Awards proved that the red carpet is just as powerful as the stage itself. This year’s looks were bold, intentional and reflective of each artist’s evolving identity. From elegant tributes to fearless rebrands, the pop girls dominated the night and set the tone for fashion in the year ahead. If this is any indication of what’s to come, 2026 is already shaping up to be an unforgettable year for music and style.
