Q: What made you come to Pittsburgh?
A: I wanted to be at a city school with a lot of different kinds of people, and I loved the enthusiasm that people had about Pitt when I visited.

Q: How’d you decide on your major?
A: After taking two weeks of Biology freshman year, I decided that my brain just didn’t work that way and went with writing because it’s something that I’ve always done without forcing myself. I was also genuinely interested in the topics that we talked about in Intro Psych and wanted to learn more- so I added that as a double major.

Q: What do you look for in a guy?
A: Someone who is hilarious, smart but doesn’t flaunt it, and is interested in being my friend before anything else.

Q: How would you describe your ideal first date?
A: Going for a walk and learning about each other like you’re the only two people in the world. (Sorry for the cheesiness!)

Q: If you could date any celebrity, who would it be and why?
A: Brandon Boyd from Incubus. He’s talented in so many different ways, poetic and artistic, has an amazing voice to serenade me, and seems like a good, fun guy.

Q: What turns you off about a guy?
A: Bragging and being self-centered.

Q: What do you plan on doing after college?
A: Probably working as a journalist for a few years and then calling the shots from there.

Q: What do you do for fun?
A: Talk about life with my friends, go to concerts, read, explore nature, pretty much anything I feel like doing at the time!

Q: What are some pick up lines guys have used to talk to you?
A: Are you guys like supermodels or something? (I don’t know WHAT his picture of a supermodel looked like, but I am definitely not 5’10”)

Q: What’s your favorite movie?
A: Donnie Darko

Q: What’s your favorite TV show?
A: The OC

Q: Pick one of your favorite Pitt memories and tell us about it.
A: Squirting ketchup out my window from the 7th floor of Holland, hitting whom I thought was a random girl, and then one of my best friends knocking on my door to tell me someone squirted ketchup at her on Fifth Ave. Thankfully, our friendship didn’t end after what we now call “the ketchup incident.”
