Are you in Pittsburgh this summer for classes or work? Is it not in the budget to spend thousands of dollars for a single weekend away? Maybe your spring semester isn’t even over yet during Coachella weekend (*cough *cough *me *cough*). Don’t be glum, chum. Ditch the music festivals this summer and go on a concert binge instead! Here are just some of the concerts available in Pittsburgh this summer 2019!

In May: Celebrate finals and “Hell Week” being over by relaxing and easing into the summer. On May 8th, Ella Mai will be performing at Stage AE. You may have heard of Ella Mai from her hit “Boo’d Up” which she performed when she was the musical guest for Steve Carell on SNL. For any Country music fans, Garth Brooks will be at Heinz Field on the 18th. If you’re more into the Indie scene, Walk Off The Earth will be holding a concert at Stage AE on the 24th.To finish off this chill month, Hozier (of “Take Me to Church”) will be at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts on May 26th.

In June & July: The only thing hotter than the weather will be are all of these artists! On June 7th, Twenty One Pilots will be performing at PPG Paints Arena. More of a Luke Bryan fan? You’re in luck! Luke Bryan will be at KeyBank Pavilion on June 7th. The following week, Ariana Grande will be at PPG Paints Arena for her Sweetener World Tour on the 12th! Indie music fans are also in luck! In June, Norah Jones will be at Heinz Hall on the 18th, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Young the Giant will be at Stage AE on the 25th and 27th, respectively, and Parachute will be at The Rex Theater on the 28th. Also on the 28th, at KeyBank Pavilion, will be the Zac Brown Band (“Chicken Fried”.) On July 7th, “Weird Al” Yankovic will be at the Benedum Center for the Performing Arts.  Last, but not least, Queen & Adam Lambert will be performing at PPG Paints Arena on July 31st!

In August: You’re going to want to make the most of your last few weeks of Summer vacation when you hear who’s coming to Pittsburgh! Not wasting anytime, the first two days of August kick off with Elle King (“Ex’s and Oh’s” anybody?) on the first and Florida Georgia Line on the second, both at KeyBank Pavilion. The following week, on August 6th, Shawn Mendes (!) will be at PPG Paints Arena. On August 8th, experience a true “Throwback Thursday” with Nelly at KeyBank Pavilion! For all you Country fans, Chris Stapleton will be at KeyBank Pavilion on the 10th and Rascal Flatts will also be at KeyBank Pavilion, on the 16th. Finally, before you get back into student/work mode, let loose one last time with Iron Maiden at PPG Paints Arena on the 17th!

See you there!
