Looking to spice up your typical neutral-colored sweater and coat for the winter? Want a way to stand out on a gray day?  Whether you’re looking for warm accessories or bold ones to make your day a little bit brighter, these items will get you through the winter looking cute and fashionable!

1) Headband ear warmers. Rather than wearing a pair of earmuffs or a hat, these headbands are perfect for spicing up your outfit.  They come in different materials, patterns, and colors; you can even match them to your outfit!  They basically look like a normal headband, yet they’ll keep your ears nice and toasty on those frigid days.  I just bought one at Forever 21 this past weekend for only $4, but there are plenty of other places you can buy stylish ones for a reasonable price!

2) Fun colored or patterned sweater tights. There’s no better way to dress up a large sweater and boots than by adding in some bright colored or patterned sweater tights!  They’ll be warmer than wearing normal tights or leggings, which tend to be very thin.  Holiday patterns, tribal patterns, or colored—no matter what, they’ll make your outfit pop.  They’re also the perfect way to wear a dress in the winter while still keeping your legs warm! You can buy these at many different places. Target sells them in a variety of different options!

3) Winter themed iPhone Case. With a case like this, you’ll be prepared for the spirit of the season!  I know that my current phone case is so bright and perfect for summer, so it kind of seems out of place.  Why not switch it up and change to a sparkly blue or silver case?  You could even go for one with snowflakes or holiday themed patterns on it!

4) A Starbucks tumbler for your favorite hot drink.  For those of you who can’t go a day without their coffee or tea, especially in the dead of winter, these tumblers are definitely for you! Only $20 and adorable, these Alice+Olivia and Starbucks chevron holiday tumblers are perfect for refills and for carrying your coffee on the go without burning your hand!  Why not make your coffee look cute if you can?

5) Winter-inspired flats for any holiday party. Whether you have a party at your friend’s house, a New Year’s party, or a holiday party with your family, these shoes are perfect for dressing up any outfit- even a pair of jeans and a sweater! Gap sells these blue sparkly loafers for only $40, but if you’re looking to splurge (or need a gift for your holiday list) Kate Spade has pricier ones; like these black and gold bowed ballet flats that are $68.  Especially during a season where clothing is sold in more neutral colors, these shoes will help you stand out!
