Pepperdine senior Jazmyne Adeneye is a familiar face for many students at Pepperdine. She is extremely involved on campus with her sorority and other organizations. For instance, she is the VP of Marketing for the Student Alumni Organization, which hosts networking events for students and alumni in order to maintain a relationship between the two. In addition, Jazmyne is affiliated to Delta Delta Delta, and has been significantly committed to her role as a sorority member. āIām in my fourth year of being in my sorority, Tri Delt, so itās coming to a close, which is really weird for me cause Iāve had three offer positions, so now Iām just coming to chapter and Iām used to doing stuff before chapter and after chapter,ā Jazmyne said. She is also a group leader for Tri Delta, Gamma Phi Beta, and Alpha Tau Omega in this yearās Songfest. “Iāve done Songfest every year, and I always say āIām not going to do it again,’ and I end up signing up every year. In addition to being active on campus, Jazmyne is also committed to her new internship at Maker Studios, which is a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Company. Ā
“I think the friendships that Iāve made are a unique experience in and of themselves. Iāve met so many people and made so many connections, not just for my future, but these are people that I see being in my life long-term. Pepperdine is such a small place that you see these people every day, they know every aspect of your life whether you want them to or not, and I donāt think I couldāve gotten that anywhere else; and the type of people that I meet here are just genuine people, so I think thatās a very unique experience for me. I think thatās the thing that Iām going to take away from Pepperdine the most, besides being in Malibu, school and all of that stuff, I think the friendships are going to be lasting for me the most.”

Iām trying to stay in Los Angeles; itās been my home for so long, I canāt really picture myself anywhere else.”

Whatās your favorite show right now?
