Music Is All I Think About, From the Moment I Wake Up. A List of My Upcoming Concerts

If you know me, you know that music is one of my passions. I love not only listening to music, but I also love purchasing physical copies of an album, whether that’s vinyl records, CDs, you name it. Besides making physical purchases, I love attending concerts. If you visit my Instagram, you’ll see my countless stories where I’ll be at a concert, screaming the lyrics to one of my favorite songs. While the year is coming to an end, the fall concerts have just begun. I will be discussing the concerts that I’m looking forward to attending. 

  1. Charli XCX – Music, Fashion, Film Tour (Sept. 15) 

Now, I’m very excited for Charli XCX for two main reasons. One, because I didn’t have the chance to go to the BRAT tour (still so upset about that), so this tour will definitely make up for the fun I missed out on. Two, Charli XCX has been on a crazy run, from her cultural-phenomenon album, BRAT, to her album for the film Wuthering Heights, and now to her eighth album, Music, Fashion, Film. This album may not have been talked about much, but I believe it was more about Charli’s love for music, fashion, and film. Besides that, I cannot wait to dress up and take pictures with my roommate and scream the lyrics at Barclays Center. 

  1. Jungle – World Tour (Sept. 19) 

I’ve been a fan of Jungle since their popular song, “Candle Flame,” hit my playlist in 2023. Since then, I’ve wanted to hear them live because their music reminds me so much of summer. Night or day, cold or hot, anytime I listen to their music, it reminds me so much of a summer day. Then, when they dropped their newest album, Sunshine, they also announced they would be doing a world tour. I immediately ran to Ticketmaster and snagged myself a ticket. To make matters better, they’re performing the day before my birthday, so it’s a perfect birthday gift for myself. I can’t wait to dance my heart out at Barclays Center. 

  1. Malcolm Todd – Do That Again Tour (Sept. 22) 

Now, you’re probably thinking: “Oh, she definitely just became a Malcolm Todd fan this year.” First of all, no, thanks to my great friend Harmony, who put me on to Malcolm Todd two years ago. To this day, I’m forever grateful that she told me about him because I’ve been nothing but obsessed with his three albums, Sweet Boy, Malcolm Todd, and now his latest, Do That Again. With this album and the skyrocketing popularity Todd has gained, he will be performing at a larger venue (Radio City Music Hall) than he did on his first tour, which was at Terminal 5 (ew). Besides that, I’m so excited to see Todd again; he’s an artist that I’ve been enjoying recently and I hope he’ll get more recognition down the line. 

  1. Slayyyter – WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD TOUR (Oct. 4)

Besides the fact that “CRANK” will most likely be in my most played songs of 2026, Slayyyter has been on an amazing run this past year. From her opening for Pace University’s event, Unleashed, to her recent album, WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, becoming an iconic moment in pop culture. I, naturally, was very excited when she announced a tour. At first, I was planning to go by myself since that’s what I normally do, until my roommate was raving about how much he loves Slayyyter. So, I surprised him with two tickets and believe me when I say a time will be had. While she is a growing name, Slayyyter will be performing at the Brooklyn Paramount. 

  1. Steve Lacy – Oh Yeah? Tour (Oct. 10)

I was lucky enough to be able to see Steve Lacy when his third album, Gemini Rights, dropped and changed lives; although, I’ve been a massive fan of his since his EP, Steve Lacy’s Demo. Then, I was even more ecstatic when he dropped his recent album, Oh yeah? To make it even crazier, one of his songs, “oh yeah?” ended up being the end credit song for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. While I am excited to hear that song live, I’m mostly excited for either “pure color” or “nothing.” Those two songs made me cry when this album dropped. Besides that, I’m also happy that Lacy is doing a bigger venue this time. Like Todd, he also had his first tour at Terminal 5 (ew), but he’s going to be at Radio City Music Hall this time around. 

Overall, these concerts are something that have gotten me so excited for the fall season. Hopefully, more artists will announce tours, or I could try to attend some others like Olivia Rodrigo’s.

Over the summer, she experienced the public relations world as a Public Relations Intern at 1964 Agency. She is interested in pursuing a career in media marketing.

Outside of academics and writing, Jaden enjoys jamming out at a concert to one of her many favorite artists, acting for film and TV, dancing, reading, or forcing one of her friends to be in a TikTok with her.
