I am writing this as I sit on my bed in my dorm room that I will be living in for only a few more short days. Since I moved to New York City, a lot has changed and I have evolved so much. If I told myself on move-in day that by the end of the year I would have my friends, had a really fun internship, joined so many clubs, and become Senior Editor for Her Campus at Pace, I would not have believed you.
In the past few days, I realized that I can attribute a lot of my newfound confidence to this organization. I am no longer afraid to publish my writing for other people to read; in fact, I am proud! A lot of this is due to the never-ending support that my fellow members give me. I have found some really amazing friends within this chapter at Pace.
Aside from all of that, my writing has also improved a lot and I have found my unique style. The same can be said for all of our writers; with every article, the next always improves. I’m excited for another year as Senior Editor and I can’t wait to see everyone again in the fall!
