An Open Letter to Her Campus of Oxford Emory

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oxford Emory chapter.

I can’t believe that this is the last post I’m going to write for HC Oxford Emory. When I started this chapter earlier this year, I never thought it would expand into an awesome group of women who are talented, smart, and driven, plus who have been amazing to me all year. Like all years of college, this year had some highs and lows, at times worse and better than years past. I was able to leave my post for almost a week and you know what, it came back in perfect order. I have never been so proud to be a part of a group like this in my life.

I’ve been a part of the Her Campus family for a while now. Whether I was working as a blogger on campaigns or hosting events, but this was the first time I’ve ever been able to work for them on something of this level. So to Her Campus, thank you for letting me be a Campus Correspondent! You put your trust in me to start this chapter and bring the values of HC to the Oxford Emory campus, so that will never go without the love.

To my team, man some of you all stuck with me since the beginning!! This was a brand new chapter, so I had no idea what I jumped into at the beginning of my sophomore year. I quickly learned how time consuming this was, but through it all, you girls, my lovely team, kept working with me and making this year a SUCCESS! I’ve been lucky enough to work with you all for the past few months, and at the end, I know I’m leaving this chapter in GREAT hands. You will get to know Marine and Emily very well and I know they will not let anyone down! Thank you all for being here for me and being great all year, and I’m expecting to see you all come back next year and write again!

HCXO,

Jordan xx

Jordan Chapman is a visual art and international studies major with a French minor at Emory University. As a second year student, she's incredibly busy, but when you add jetsetting and writing a blog (in addition to a Youtube channel), her life is more busy than you may think. When she isn't watching Stranger Things or writing blog posts, she's in class or sending emails, with the dream of being the next big editor or fashion blogger. As a future London expat and wanderlust victim, she visits the land across the pond quite frequently along with many other places in Europe frequently, just hoping that life will take her somewhere fun and exciting.
