You may see Emily running around Oswego training for her half marathon, working at the gym teaching H.I.T.S, making you a drink at Greene’s Ale House, or studying layers of rocks. Emily loves the outdoors and when most girls would be excited about a new pair of heals, Emily is ecstatic about her new hiking boots.
For the past couple of months she has been training for a half-marathon
in NYC. Not only was she bettering her over-all health, strength and endurance, but her mind was clear and she had time to focus on a project. This project was running for the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
“I wanted to run for a purpose, not only to finish for myself but for those who cannotparticipate,” she said.
The Children’s Tumor Foundation is a foundation that
supports the research for neurofibromatosis. She went to businesses and spoke with everyone she could and ended up raising $1,150.00 towards the charity.
“I could not have done it without my friends, family and supporters,” she said.

amazing and I realized that this town is very beautiful you just have
to know where to look.
