5 Last Minute Halloween Costumes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Oswego chapter.

I know what you’re all thinking. Halloween is in two days and I still don’t know what I’m going to be. Well, here’s your guide to five quick and easy Halloween costumes to make your day a little more spooky.

1.) Be a Sim!

The Sims is always relevant, everyone knows the iconic green triangle above the characters’ heads. Simply get a headband and make (or buy) a green triangular prism to place on top of your head, and done! You’re a sim. Simple and easy.

2.) A witch

Modernize the witch costume with pieces of clothing you probably already have. Wear some high waisted black pants and a dark crop top, paired with combat boots, a choker and dark makeup. You could even draw some witchy simple by your eyes. To kick it up a notch, get a fringe jacket and black lipstick. People will get the idea, plus you’ll look cute as hell.

3.) Heathers

There are three Heathers for you to choose from from the iconic 80’s film, so you could even do this with friends! Wear either all red, green, or yellow paired with a matching scrunchie, and there you go. You can even take it a step further and wear a corresponding skirt to the color you choose like they did in the movie. It’s up to you.

4.) Damian from Mean Girls

This one could not be easier. Wear a purple or pink hoodie with the hood up and the strings pulled tight around your face, then add a pair of sunglasses. You get to wear a hoodie out and you might even get a few laughs.

5.) Rosie the Riveter

Finally, an icon to dress as for Halloween. Just get, or borrow, a jean jacket from someone along with a red bandana. The hairstyle and makeup are simple, and everyone will know who you are.

Just remember, Halloween is supposed to be fun and exciting. Don’t stress about spending too much money on a costume. As long as you’re enjoying yourself, that’s all that matters.
