Flowers are not the only thing that will blossom this spring. These must-haves are things you need to do. And I guarantee you will too.
- Â Make a playlist
For me, making a playlist is a form of self-care. Perfectly curating a specific feeling through music is so therapeutic, and spring is the perfect time to do this. Every spring I witness my own music taste shift from being a bit slower and sad to something more lighthearted and fun to listen to. Making a playlist for the season is an easy way to brighten your mood and get motivated to get involved.Â
- Go for a bike ride
Bike rides are perfect for spring. The weather is not too hot to the point where biking would just be a burden or so cold that just the thought of going outside makes your body numb. On top of being plain enjoyable, it is also an easy low-intensity workout as well. Since I know not everyone has access to a bike, a great alternative to bike rides is skateboarding or even just taking time out of the day to go for a walk.Â
- Have a picnic
Picnic season is upon us. Put on your cutest outfits, make food, buy drinks, and have brunch. Whether it is with friends, significant others, or even with yourself, picnics are always lovely activities to do when the weather is nice.Â
- Go on a date!
You can not have a hot-girl summer without a flirty-girl spring so push your boundaries and try to meet new people. Even if you are someone who is in a relationship or enjoys being single that does not mean you can’t go on a date. You can take yourself on a date by making yourself nice food and doing self-care. Take your friends out to dinner or plan fun activities with them, or push yourself to branch out and meet new people. Whatever you decide to do, going on a date this spring is essential.Â
- Buy yourself flowersÂ
Flowers are in bloom and what better way to treat yourself than by buying beautiful flowers? Flowers are such a great way to brighten up a space and lift your mood so while you can, take advantage of the fact that they are in season.Â
- Spring Clean
Cleaning is not always the most enjoyable or easiest thing to do, but hear me out. Spring here means that the end of the semester is creeping closer. You can take the time to clean your space and get rid of the stuff that you don’t need. That way once finals arrive, cleaning and packing will not be such a hassle.
