And just like that, it’s that time of year again, finals. Finals are the one thing standing in between us and a month-long break from all the hustle of school. When this time rolls around I tend to see a lot of sweatpants and yoga pants roaming around campus. Personally, I choose to ditch those kinds of clothes for more fashionable apparel to study because when I look prepared, I feel more prepared for what’s ahead. Now I know what you must be thinking, its cold out, I’m only going to the library, or that’s too much work and I don’t have that time. Well, I am going to show you some easy ways to raise the grade on your study style.

For me, jeans are my go to apparel for those long days of studying. They keep me warm and are very comfortable to lounge around in wherever you may be. You can pair these with a tee of any kind and an oversized sweater to keep it snuggly or you can pair a blouse with a scarf to make it more casual. Then trade the Uggs for some more sophisticated footwear like riding boots or high top sneakers.

If the whole idea of jeans doesn’t fly for you then leggings may be the way to go. Try pairing your leggings with an oversized flannel or sweater for maximized comfort on those long days in the library. Then add some edge with some combat or work boots to trek through the snowy campus. You can also wear the tops I mentioned above with leggings as well (as long as the top goes past your butt).

The final touch to any study look is a cute beanie. These hats are all the rage right now mainly because of their versatility and variety. Add a beanie onto any of the outfits mentioned above and you will be soaring about the rest with flying colors. And, if you’re running late and have to skip a shower, it’s a great way to cover up a bad hair day.

There you have it, the best ways to stay study chic during finals. Hopefully this gives you some inspiration and helps you pass these final days of class!
