Spring Break is only four weeks away, but who is counting right? It’s time to bring out all of your high-wasted denim shorts and cropped tops from the back of your closet. Spring Break is the perfect time to get away, whether you are going to a resort in Mexico or just staying home, nothing is better than being able to relax and not have to worry about school for a little while. One thing that I always have trouble with is packing. It seems almost impossible to come up with outfits using my summer pieces when I have pretty much been living in my parka for three months. The great thing about this week of warmth is being able to flaunt all of the new upcoming trends for spring. A few trends for Spring 2014 include, sporty layering, pastels, and the color orange. All of these were features on this years runways. Here are some easy ways to stay in style this spring!

The sporty layering looks are edgy and adventurous, with colorful prints and dynamic textures. It’s not sporty without mesh weaving and a bomber jacket. This look is very easy and comfortable to obtain; go for chic dressy shorts, box-cut tees, and sneakers.

Pastels can never get old; spring always brings out the best colors in everyone and this season pastels are making a big hit! These subtle touches of color can have a huge impact on your look this spring. Any piece of clothing or accessory can add the perfect touch of pastel to your ensemble.

Orange is the new black; no I am not talking about the ever so popular Netflix series. Blazing, bright orange was seen all over the runway for spring 2014. Whether it was subtle like a pair of shoes, purse or jewelry or bold on a maxi dress or blazer. If orange really isn’t your color, you can accomplish this trend by simply adding some bright accessories to any outfit,or if you are feeling daring, then go all out this spring break with an orange bathing suit or maxi skirt!
