Home game days are the best as a Buckeye. It’s so fun getting to be in the Shoe, hanging out with your friends before and after the game, and being in the exciting atmosphere of your fellow fans. But it is hard to chase that feeling when the Buckeyes play away. Here are three spots on campus where you can find that game day electricity.
woody’s tavern
Woody’s Tavern, located in the Ohio Union is a perfect spot to cheer on Jeremiah Smith as he catches a touchdown! It’s a perfect on-campus location to grab some comfort food and watch the Buckeyes while they’re away. It gives a sports bar feel, featuring a number of screens and comfortable seating. Students can also use a meal swipe or dining dollars to get food at Woody’s, making it a cost effective spot to go and root on the Buckeyes.
Adriatico’s pizza
What goes better with game day than pizza? Adriatico’s is located on Neil Avenue just off campus. Whether you are grabbing a pizza to-go to have a stay at home watch party or dining in, Adriatico’s offers an exciting atmosphere and delicious food for you to go and enjoy the game. They serve a plethora of comfort bar food outside of pizza, such as pasta, subs, fried appetizers, and gelato for dessert.
varsity club
Located on Lane Avenue and super close to Ohio Stadium, Varsity Club offers a fun and iconic place for you and your friends to cheer from afar. The establishment has multiple TVs and has all the game day food you crave when cheering on the Buckeyes.
